North Park

Located west of Kensington, North Park was once known simply as “Thirtieth and University”. Nowadays, the famous neon sign located at these two cross streets, marks the heart of this unique community. Many cafés, restaurants, bars, galleries and a host of locally-owned businesses flourish here, giving North Park a sense of community seldom found in newer developments. Many North Park homes were built in the Craftsman and California bungalow style, an architectural form that gained popularity during the first decades of the twentieth century.
